Beijing with the Juice: April 14th-18, 2025
This will be my last photo gallery from my time in China. My journey and experience have been challenging and rewarding. I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to explore not only Beijing but a significant portion of East Asia.
In this gallery, I’ve acted as a tour guide for one of my old college buddies. We met up in Japan the previous week and made our way back to Beijing. While he was here, we hit up some of the typical culinary traditions, went on a small tour of the city’s craft beer scene, and, of course, visited some of the more famous sites around the city.
Most of these pictures are from our tour of the Jinshanling portion of the Great Wall, our trip through Houhai, the side streets along our beer tour, the Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City. Although the last two were mainly taken in the rain, I was still able to get a few decent shots with my iPhone.
I used a Fujifilm XT200 and an iPhone with editing completed in Lightroom.
