An Iranian-American, born and raised in the heart of Bourbon country, David was drawn to creative storytelling from an early age. But it wasn’t until 2013 that he started regularly putting pen to paper. With this site, like previous iterations—Bourbon and Chai and DC Soccer Digest—David wants to explore a wide range of topics and genres. He also plans to share his photography and any future podcasts, like a possible second season of White Adjacent.

His debut novel, A Thousand Touches, is set for publication in December 2026.

He and his wife live in Warsaw with their two young children.
